My wife and I have lived in many places around the country and have had numerous experiences with veterinarians with our dog Sadie. When we moved to Phoenix almost two years ago we were once again faced with the challenge with finding the right veterinarian. A friend of ours recommended Deer Creek Animal Hospital. As we walked thru the doors we were amazed at how beautiful and clean the facility was. The only thing that went thru my mind was how expensive this was going to be!
The doctors and the technicians were friendly and informed. This was my first experience at the vet where they actually took the time to explain what was going on, what we needed to do and what to expect with Sadie’s surgery. The environment was comfortable. They didn’t make me feel stupid for some of the question I was asking, that was a first! I spoke to Dr. Higgins about the cost of the surgery because I thought there was a mistake; it was a lot less than most clinics were charging. Dr.Higgins made a statement to my wife and I that I’ll never forget. I love animals, I love what I do, and it gives me great satisfaction to heal.
Almost two years have passed since my wife and I visited Deer Creek Animal Hospital that day, we knew we had found the right place. We have no children except our Sadie. I feel at ease bringing her in for her vaccinations or boarding, Sadie I know is in good hands. We are always greeted by name and with smiling friendly faces. I’m glad DCAH is part of our community!

I recommend Deer Creek AH to all of my friends who have pets, even if they're not in the same neighborhood. Everyone there is caring and friendly and Dr. Higgins explains my dog's special needs clearly..It's the kind of full service clinic that's worth going out of your way for.

I feel so fortunate to be able to be a part of the family at Deer Creek Animal Hospital. Both Dr. Higgins and Dr. Robbins have been amazing to my pets…..all of them. Griffin our rescue dog has some special needs, and somehow, Dr. Robbins knows how to get the best of him every time. Cricket is our dachshund and Dr. Higgins did an incredible spaying on her that stood out beyond all the other spayings we saw, judging by the scars, at the dog park.
Our guinea pig Flower has had a few surgeries with Dr. Higggins and bounces back the next day every time…..you would never know except from the stitches any medical work was done to him. I feel so completely comfortable with the entire team at Deer Creek Animal Hospital.
I always know my pets, who are my kids, will get top care from a team that cares as if they were their own. Yes, it is the real deal at DCAH and I am a forever fan. Anyone who can put up with Griffin (who had abuse in his past and is difficult to deal with because of that fact), anyone who can put up with Cricket’s barking at everything in sight, human, animal, or statue, (and Flower is an angel)………………..goes the extra mile in my book.
Thank you, Dr. Higgins, Dr. Robbins, Milton and team, for all that you do and all that you have done for the Herzog Family of four legged friends. You truly are a blessing in our lives.

Dear Dr Robbins, I hope you remember us and our dear boy Corey (black and white cocker). I just wanted to thank you for all you care of him for the time we were in Arizona at Deer creek animal hospital. I can't believe we had Corey for another 6 years after being diagnosed with his heart condition which continued to improve over the years! We lost him this past Friday to Cushings. He went peacefully and we knew it was time, he was 14. Thank you again for the wonderful care you gave us when we lived in Arizona.
